EPCOT Center Grand Opening Dawn of a New Disney Era Medallion (1982) - ID: jun23156

A commemorative metal medallion that was produced for the 1982 grand opening of EPCOT Center at Walt Disney World. Featuring "The Dawn of a New Disney Era" motto in front of Spaceship Earth on one side, the reverse features the classic EPCOT logo with the globe at the center of five interlocking rings. The medallion was distributed to cast members at the park. Both sides are very well detailed with three dimensional relief imagery. Measuring 1.5" in diameter, the medallion is in very good condition with surface wear and some tarnishing on the letters around the date and the word "world."
